On August 16, Dalian Bohai Rubber and Plastics, as a special support unit, sponsored the 2022 (third) China Rubber Mixing and New Rubber Material Technology Summit Forum sponsored by the Rubber Materials Committee of China Rubber Industry Association, which was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province.

More than 220 representatives from the upstream and downstream industries attended the meeting.

Xu Wenying, President of China Rubber Industry Association, shared the development status and prospects of the rubber industry under the background of "double carbon" and the epidemic.

Xu Wenying summarized the four major trends of the "double carbon" strategy in 2022.

First, for some time to come, the general tone of the "double carbon" strategy will continue to correct deviations, help steady economic growth, achieve steady, orderly and gradual development, and ensure safe carbon reduction; second, special support tools for carbon emission reduction will be concentrated, and the scale is expected to be more than one trillion yuan; third, the carbon trading market will be further expanded, and building materials and nonferrous metals may be further incorporated into the carbon trading system. Fourth, all provinces and cities, all key industries carbon peak program will be announced, "1 N" policy system continued to improve.

Subsequently, she introduced the economic operation of the rubber industry this year.

From January to May, among the 4027 rubber companies counted by the Bureau of Statistics, 945 suffered losses; the total profit decreased from 22.548 billion yuan in the previous year to 9.776 billion yuan.

According to the statistics of 371 key member enterprises of China Rubber Industry Association, the current industrial output value and profit economic indicators declined in the first half of the year, and the sales revenue increased slightly by 0.3. The value of export deliveries increased by 17.31 per cent, but at a slower pace than the previous year.

Xu Wenying answered several questions about the rubber mixing industry.

She pointed out that the biggest challenge facing the rubber mixing industry is rubber odor, particulate matter, dust and other issues, raw materials, freight prices and homogenization of low-price competition, but also restricted the industry's profit growth.

At the same time, the tightening of environmental protection policies has also brought new development opportunities to the rubber mixing industry, especially some large and intensive rubber mixing enterprises, which can meet the customized needs of downstream products and pipe belt enterprises, and have broad development space in the future.

Xu Wenying put forward the following suggestions for the rubber mixing industry: to develop high value-added products; Pay attention to the research and development of technology and formula; Strengthen lean production management; Reasonable layout of production capacity; Be the invisible champion of market segmentation.

Finally, she encouraged industry enterprises to strengthen their confidence, practice their internal skills, and work together to get out of the "long night" of the epidemic ".

Fan Rende, senior consultant of China Rubber Industry Association, shared the "Industrial Yuan Universe and Rubber Mixing Production Technology".

He said that the yuan universe rotates between the real world and the virtual world, which is a new generation of industrial Internet that enables intelligent manufacturing.

After years of development, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, 5G communications and other technology applications have matured, and the integration of these technologies has made it possible to build a rubber industry meta-universe.

Zhu Bin, general manager of Jiangsu Guanlian New Material Technology Co., Ltd., analyzed the technology, market status and development prospects of my country's rubber mixing industry.

He pointed out that the rubber mixing industry is a rising star in China. From 2010 to 2020, the industry has developed by leaps and bounds, adding nearly 100 rubber mixing enterprises, and forming a tripartite competition among foreign-funded enterprises, domestic enterprises and Taiwan investment enterprises. However, China's rubber mixing enterprises are generally scattered and concentrated, and most of them are small in scale.

Zhu Bin mentioned that as an important intermediate product in the rubber industry chain, the market has gradually increased with the global demand for rubber products.

He predicted that due to the tightening of environmental protection policies, the proportion of domestic rubber outsourcing will increase on a large scale in the next few years. According to the 30% outsourcing ratio, the production capacity of China's rubber mixing industry needs to be expanded to about 12 million tons, while the total production capacity of rubber mixing in the country is only 1.1 million tons.
