Automotive rubber products constitute a highly important category of auto parts. Though often overlooked, they play an indispensable role in sealing, vibration damping, noise reduction, and mechanical connections within vehicles.
By function, each rubber component performs its designated role:
Rubber components in automobiles can be categorized into several major types based on their functions, collectively ensuring the vehicle’s proper operation and driving comfort.

● Seals: This is the most widely used category, primarily designed to prevent the ingress or leakage of water, oil, dust, and other contaminants. Examples include the sealing strips on car doors, windows, and sunroofs, as well as various oil seals and O-rings.
● Vibration‑damping components: Used to absorb and isolate vibrations and impacts from the engine and road surface, enhancing ride comfort. Examples include engine mounts, suspension bushings, and vibration‑damping pads.
● Piping components: Responsible for conveying various fluids, such as coolant, fuel, and brake fluid. Common examples include cooling system hoses, fuel lines, and brake hoses.
● Transmission and protective components: Used in the drivetrain to safeguard precision parts from dust and dirt. Examples include drive shaft dust boots and universal joint dust covers.
● Tires: As the only component of a vehicle that makes contact with the road, tires are the most widely used and technologically sophisticated rubber product, directly impacting driving safety.
