Firstly, we had a technical exchange with SAIC Volkswagen R&D Center on the sealing of body sheet metal holes. At present, with the rapid development of new energy vehicles, how to ensure passenger safety in the event of battery thermal runaway is a key development direction for major automakers. There is an urgent need for sheet metal hole seals under high temperature conditions. Dalian Bohai Rubber has many years of experience in developing rubber seals with temperature levels below 200 ℃, which can meet the sealing and flame retardant requirements of host factories at this temperature. SAIC Volkswagen stated that in the future, supplier recommendations can be made to jointly develop new material products to meet the increasing safety requirements.
In the afternoon of the same day, we went to SAIC Volkswagen Procurement Center for enterprise introduction and product exchange. Dalian Bohai provides various buffer blocks, limit blocks, shock absorbers, seals and other products for customers such as BAIC Group, Ideal Automobile, Jianghuai Automobile, etc., with mature development and production experience. SAIC Volkswagen is particularly interested in Dalian Bohai's body car opening and closing parts and sealing products, and welcomes the introduction of new suppliers with high quality and low price. Subsequent promotion work such as inquiry and introduction of new projects will be carried out.
