To deeply integrate with the national strategy, ensure the security of natural rubber—this critical strategic resource—and drive industrial upgrades, while further highlighting Xishuangbanna's pivotal role as a hub in the China-Laos Economic Corridor, the "2025 Natural Rubber Industry Development Conference & Industry Cooperation Matching Event" and the "2025 Xishuangbanna Forum on High-Quality Development of Natural Latex Applications and Modification Technologies, along with the 4th Green Development Forum on Chemicals and Chemical Engineering," jointly hosted by the People's Government of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and organized by the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, the Yunnan Provincial Natural Rubber Association, the Yunnan Provincial Society of Chemical Engineering, the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering at Southwest Forestry University, and the Yunnan Natural Rubber Products Technology Research Institute, were grandly held in Xishuangbanna.
This conference aims to bring together the collective wisdom of the rubber industry, fostering a systematic collaboration model that integrates production, learning, scientific research, and practical applications—working hand in hand to create a new paradigm for high-quality development in the natural rubber industry.

The Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the development of the natural rubber industry, positioning it as a core pillar supporting high-quality development across Xishuangbanna Prefecture.
Xishuangbanna Prefecture remains committed to driving industrial transformation and upgrading through scientific and technological innovation. By collaborating with research institutions such as Qingdao University of Science and Technology and the Yunnan Academy of Sciences, the region is jointly establishing the "Yunnan Natural Rubber Products Technology Research Institute." This pivotal initiative aims to systematically build a new development model that integrates the "industrial chain, innovation chain, talent chain, financial chain, supply chain, and policy chain"—a collaborative framework designed to break down barriers, pool resources, and jointly create a high-value hub for the emerging natural rubber industry.
Establish an international natural rubber processing and warehousing center, as well as an industry innovation and green development center, to fully build the "Two Bases and Two Centers" into a new global hub, positioning Xishuangbanna as a strategic base for rubber supply assurance and a high-end raw material processing hub.

Through this conference, Bohai Rubber & Plastics is conducting on-site verification in Xishuangbanna to assess the industrial foundation of the natural rubber processing plant as well as the local government's investment policies. It is anticipated that, leveraging Xishuangbanna's abundant resources and favorable policy advantages, Bohai Rubber & Plastics will successfully advance its investment development plan over the next 5 to 10 years.
This meeting brought together government-supported natural rubber processing enterprises: Tianye Rubber, Yunxiang Group, Xishuangbanna Tianzheng Trading Co., Ltd., and Shuguang Standard Rubber. Participants also conducted an on-site inspection of Tianye Rubber, examining its production line management, quality control systems, and more, to verify its manufacturing and R&D capabilities, as well as gain insights into its customer base.
After this on-site visit, we’ve initially reached a cooperative agreement with Tianye Rubber to jointly develop customized, high-value-added natural rubber products. Meanwhile, through in-depth discussions with the government of Xishuangbanna Prefecture, we gained valuable insights into supportive policies for enterprises investing from other provinces, including investment cost advantages, cross-border facilitation services, and local labor policies.
