[Dalian News] Since the onset of summer, Dalian has endured a string of scorching hot days, causing indoor workshop temperatures to soar. At Dalian Bohai Rubber & Plastics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bohai Rubber”), some frontline production positions have faced temporary staffing shortages due to employees taking leave amid the heat, posing a significant challenge to the company’s already tight production and delivery schedules.
Confronted with the dual pressures of extreme heat and labor shortages, Bohai Rubber’s management responded swiftly by issuing a call to “decentralize management and mobilize all staff to cover shifts.” Mid-level managers and office-based professionals stepped out of their air-conditioned cubicles, donned work uniforms and protective gear, and took up frontline roles in the molding and vulcanization processes.
