On July 9, a technical exchange on rubber products for body sealing and opening parts was held with FAW Hongqi NBD R&D Center, Body R&D Department. Bohai Rubber Company and its products were introduced to Hongqi. The company has extensive development and supporting experience with BAIC Group, Ideal Auto, and JAC Motors, and supplies rubber products to well-known overseas automotive companies such as Mazda and Subaru. Hongqi showed particular interest in our sliding door buffer blocks, limit blocks, and adaptive buffer blocks. Both parties will proceed with follow-up work based on project needs.
A visit to the Hongqi R&D center was also conducted. The FAW Hongqi NBD R&D Center is the core technological innovation base of FAW Group, focusing on independent R&D and testing and verification of high-end models.
1. R&D System:
It encompasses 5 major research institutes covering chassis, new energy, and intelligent networking, equipped with 8 laboratories and a national-level innovation center, forming a global R&D network (with headquarters in Changchun radiating to Beijing, Munich, Germany, etc.).
2. Cutting-edge Testing Capabilities
Chassis R&D: Simulates multi-directional loads through a five-axis monitoring platform, combined with a driving simulator to optimize steering feel and suspension tuning, ensuring the handling quality of Hongqi models.
